At Woodbridge Community Playgroups we provide a safe, inspiring environment where children learn through play, build confidence, and feel truly at home.

Our caring team works closely with families to support every child’s unique journey, from first steps to school readiness.

For over 40 years, St Mary’s Playgroup has proudly served Woodbridge and the surrounding villages, providing daily morning and afternoon sessions in a safe, happy and nurturing environment.

We are a small, not-for-profit charity, led by a passionate committee and delivered by a dedicated, caring and highly experienced staff team. Our practitioners are qualified and confident in supporting children with additional needs, ensuring every child feels valued, included and supported.

In April 2021, we proudly opened our sister setting, Sandlings Playgroup, based at Rock Barracks in Sutton Heath. With the same community-focused ethos, Sandlings has grown into a thriving nursery making the most of its incredible surroundings. Children enjoy large outdoor spaces, Forest School experiences and regular outings within the local area, including visits to the park, soft play, the heath, bus trips and more.
